We use 91% isopropyl alcohol, however the 70% version should suffice; both are available at stores like Walmart. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eVinyl stencil can be applied freely\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eor with the use of transfer material - when using transfer material (recommended) follow the instructions on\/in the packaging. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe stencil should have enough border to extend well past the dying area.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFull disc stencils will have an overhang to wrap around the rim.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eArea stencils will have sufficient overage but may require masking of the remaining disc.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf you trim the edge of the stencil, leftover vinyl should be saved for use\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003efor masking.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eBe sure the edge of the stencil that will be in contact with the dye is sufficiently smoothed so as not to let any of the dye seep under the vinyl.
