Secondhand Discs
Previously owned disc golf discs with any level of wear or inking other than dye or branding. Previoisly owned discs that have a custom dye were dyed by Foo Fliers DGO unless indicated otherwise.
Secondhand discs are represented by the sleepy scale appearing in the title in square brackets [ ]. All Foo Fliers dyed discs are inked on the inner rim with our website "foofliers.com" and is not part of the grading.
The Disc Golf Sleepy Scale is used to determine the quality and condition of disc golf discs and is widely accepted by the majority of the disc golf community.
9 – Field tested or used for one or two rounds, many use this for storage wear as well
8 – Lightly used with very minimal wear
7 – Used with some minor dings or scuffs but still in good shape
6 – Typical used disc with the usual dings, scratches but still worthy
5 – Kind of beat, significant wear, has lost a good bit of it’s stability
4 – Beat up turnover disc with some evident war story wear
3 or less - Anything rated a 3 or less has been beaten to death or is a chew toy.
When obtaining secondhand discs, we make every effort to acquire non-inked discs. Some discs may have ink (other than the Foo Fliers DGO marking on the inner rim), as shown in pictures. Every effort is made to remove or minimize any pre-existing ink.
We at Foo Fliers try to minimize any pre-existing ink as possible, however we feel that it is vital that players identify their disks in order to promote the return of any lost disks. We highly recommend that any personal information be applied to the inner rim to minimize its impact on the look of the disc.
